I am Talia Fernandez, a multi-disciplinary production professional with more than fourteen years of experience spanning graphic design, packaging development, and technical production operations. 

My expertise lies in the intersection of creative design and technical execution—transforming concepts into production-ready assets across packaging, large-format graphics, and print media. With a comprehensive understanding of both design fundamentals and manufacturing processes, I bridge the gap between creative vision and physical reality.

Throughout my career, I’ve developed a unique skill set that encompasses structural and graphic packaging development (including container measurement, die line creation, and Zund cutting table programming for prototypes), production operations management (overseeing multiple press workflows and coordinating with manufacturing partners), and technical file preparation (ensuring print-ready accuracy across diverse output methods).

I’ve managed production for major entertainment brands, luxury retail installations, and consumer product packaging for beauty, food, and beverage brands. My work ranges from measuring and drafting packaging specifications to coordinating 2,000+ square foot large-format installations—always with meticulous attention to technical detail and production feasibility.

A defining achievement in my career has been designing and managing an 8,000+ file asset management system, reducing retrieval time by 60% while maintaining exacting quality standards. I’ve also created training resources for my team, documenting production workflows and technical processes to elevate capabilities and ensure consistency.

I approach every project with the same care and precision I bring to my stained glass work—honing concepts, piecing elements together, and refining until the final product is perfect.

It also helps that I speak the language of the printers! Beyond client work, I am developing Behind the Bleed, an educational platform launching January 2026 that teaches production fundamentals—from packaging engineering techniques like measuring containers for labels, to print production workflows and technical file preparation. My goal is to bridge the knowledge gap between designers and production teams, elevating industry standards through accessible education.
